These are my second pair of socks - nearly completed. I bought the yarn at the NSW Spinners and Weavers Guild open day. I used a basic pattern but added a cable down the middle. These socks have been my first cable project, my first attempt at toe-up socks, and my first use of provisional cast-on. I am quite proud of myself!
I am now considering laying aside all of that winter knitting for next year. Summer is for iceblocks and fans and socks and cotton!
