So what do you do with your sock yarn left overs? I had quite a bit left over from my Rainy Day Socks, so decided that it was time my good intention of knitting little socks for my granddaughter Grace, was actually carried out. As it turns out, this is too small for her, but more babies due in the family next year, so they won't go astray. Just have to make sure I don't succumb to SSS now.

N'oor - little bebeh socks - so cute!
I make lots of socks for the grandchildren who actually ask for them. The really small ones likelove the stripey ones and it's a good way to use up bits and pieces. If the colours are similar in both socks, it doesn't matter if they are not a true match. even do one feature like a rib or roll or frill in the same colour, then stripes, or heels and toes etc. And I still seem to have lots of bits left over!
Is it possible to get SSS on a baby socks? I always find they go so fast that I'm left wondering "Hey, where'd my sock go?"
The sock is so lovely & it's a great idea to use up the leftovers. What is the pattern that you use? Is it toe-up? Thanks
Thanks guys. :o) Ann, this is just a basic sock (cuff down) using a 32 stitch cast on which is the number recommended for the sample sock in 'Sensational Knitted Socks'. The sample sock in that book is a little ribbed number, but I decided to make mine plain.
