One Sock Down

One Lacy Mock Cable sock of Patonyle, finished while watching football yesterday. One more to go. I made the leg a little shorter than specified. I'm still getting the hang of how far 100g of sock yarn will go (I really need to learn toe up so I'm not obsessing over yarn, hmm?). I like the shorter length, though, and I think I'll have enough yarn left over when I'm done for some baby booties for whatever baby shows up next. (Good to have baby stuff in reserve, I think.)

This looks great! I seem to make my socks a bit short too (for the same reason as you!) but I don't mind the left-overs if I can get baby socks out of them!

The socks look great & love the colors! I also make my socks short as I think it looks nicer. Great job!

They look rather nice.

I have some Patonyle yarn in my stash, I'm thinking of digging it out. I bought three balls, just to make sure, so I'm sure there'll be some leftover for something smaller.

Thanks! I cast on for the second last night and did one pattern repeat before going to bed.

Your sock looks wonderful!! I like shorter legs on my socks and I usually have a lot of wool left over, sometimes 35g!! I am an obsessive weigher of my wool!! I find the mass of the ball a lot to see how much I have used!!!
