One down, one to go

I have finished the first of my DH's Earl Grey Socks (see my blog for pics). Normally, I would consider this halfway point a cause for moderate celebration, but all these SSS Knitters-Along have made me feel quite inadequate. For instance, in less time than it took me to knit one sock in 8ply Cleckheaton, Happy Spider has finished an entire pair of beaded socks in 4ply Patonyle.
In my defense, my husband has much bigger feet than Ms Spider (I hope).

Oh no! I'm sorry, :( honestly I'm a crazy person with OCD and i'm not working at the moment because it's school holidays... your sock is beautiful! don't anyone get performance anxiety because i'm a crazy person, please! like Rose Red says, we're all fabulous and this is not a competition with each other but with ourselves. So please, keep doing your own thing, knitting your gorgeous stuff and dont think for a minute any of us arent proud as punch, ok?
hugs! :)
