This is my 1st sock that I cast on Oct 1 while driving down south of Perth for a holiday & cast off on the drive back - it's my own design & I really like the look of it - it's a mix of garter rib & mini mock cables knitted in Cherry Tree Hill Sockittomme - I am not really crazy about this yarn as it's quite elastic & splitty.I have named the sock Dots & Crosses as the garter stitch looks like little dots & the mock cable (actually a right twist) looks like a cross - my very own design!

Lovely! Is that the 'Old Rose' colourway of Sockittome? I've got a skein of that as well, but I can't find a pattern it works with - yours is gorgeous!
