Spiral Boot socks

First pair done!

Spiral Boot socks by Veronik Avery
Interweave Knits, Summer 2007

Heirloom Argyle grey marle - 2 balls, with small amount of Patonyle grey for toes and heels
Took nearly all of the Argyle for these, I don't think I would have made it on 2 balls if I had used it for the heels and toes. You would definitely need three balls if you were to either make the calf longer (which I would probably do next time) or if you didn't want contrast heels/toes.
I am lovin' them, though!

I am so impressed, they're a work of true sock dedication.

Way to go Kgirl! They look great and the solid colour really allows the details to shine. I'm still cranking along on my first sock. Good advice about the heel and toe too. Was thinking of doing a contrast heel and toe because I think I'll just squeak it in with two skeins of Cherry Tree Hill.
