Going with the flow

These are my third SSS finished socks! I finished them at my parents' house down the coast two days ago.

They are the Go with the Flow socks from Interweave's 25 Favourite Socks.

I made them with Cherry Tree Hill sock yarn which, having never used it before, I now love and will go to great lengths to source as much of it as possible (it's hard to get here).

Loved the pattern. I have a fondness for 4 row repeat sock patterns. You don't get as bored as you do with just a two row repeat but it's not so hard I can't remember it and do it easily on the bus, which was where most of these socks were done.

Two weeks. That's how long it took. Just two weeks. I had a deadline of three weeks because they're a gift for a visiting friend.

You can't beat that for satisfaction.

You go girlfriend!!

I'm with you on the 4 (or 5) row pattern (love the lacy mock cables pattern!) and while I've yet to knit with my CTH, I'm pretty sure I'm going to love it as much as you do!

Those look great. I knew you could hit your deadline. Your friend is going to love them, I'm sure. What a vibrant color.

The only time I really struggle with repeats is when I'm working the repeat down the instep while simultaneously decreasing at the gussets. I appreciate an even number repeat then, because I know to always decrease on the even rounds (or odd, whatever). Otherwise I have to write it down and check it off. I'm simple and easily distracted....
