Spiral Boot Socks

My new year's resolution at the beginning of this year was to knit one sock per month until the end of October - the end result being a pair of socks for each member of my family for Christmas. So far, I've been doing pretty well at this. Here I present my socks for January and February:

The pattern is Spiral Boot Socks from Interweave Summer 2007, and the yarn is Lorna's Laces Shepard Sock Solid (try saying that after three beers!) in grape. At Christmas they will be gifted to my sister. There are more detailed adventures of the creation process on my blog.
