Frozen shoulder = no knitting [at least not at the moment]

Hi Bells, Rose Red and all my fellow socker stars

Wow! you are all doing so well - congratulations!

Just wanted to let you know I'm still around - just not knitting :-(
I was diagnosed with frozen shoulder ten days before Christmas and three days before Christmas was told I am not allowed to knit, crochet, paint, sew or do anything else that aggravates my shoulder or my elbow [which is in pain trying to compensate for the lack of movement in my shoulder].

I have been dyeing [and dying to knit!] -- please drop by my blog and see what I've been up to in my non-knitting days!

Picot 101

Here is my first picot edge (and the beginning of my second-ever pair of socks). It was surprisingly easy. This wool is my first attempt at dyeing. I followed Ms Spider's tutorial, and used food colouring.
Off to a slow start with the SSS... but I blame the aquisition of a spindle! Geez spinning is fun :) (see my blog for pics!)
