Welcome to SSoS 2009/2010!

Yes! Summer is here! Well, the Southern Summer of Socks anyway. By the powers vested in me by, oh, me, I declare summer has commenced! Sock knitters unite!

Bells and I have decided that most of the action this year will happen on Ravelry, in the SSoS group - we both participated in the Tour de France KAL this year which ran entirely on Ravelry and it worked really well!

But we know not everyone is necessarily on Ravelry or has a blog, so if you want to post on the SSoS blog that's absolutely fine, we won't be shutting it down or getting rid of anything, as there's lots of good info and sock knitting on here!

We hope you'll join us and have some fun knitting socks together this summer!

*sigh* I was so disappointed with the TdF as a ravelry thing - I enjoyed it far more as a blog endeavour - it just felt more participatory.

But, I will endeavour to knit socks for SSoS again this year. Lace will be my primary objective, but socks are a necessity too... :)

I've been trying to convince myself not to cast on a pair of socks because there are so many other projects going on in my life...but now I HAVE to! Thanks...I think! :o)

Talk about good timing ... I'm going to try my hand at my first pair of socks and a group sounds like the best way to do this.

Thanks for stopping by my little corner garden. I mean, who can turn down a new skein of sock yarn. Mine usually ends up in a scarf, but love all the colors here. I sure need to learn how to cast on instead of creating a chain

There is a best program that I recommend. In this program, you had the opportunity to obtain $ 5 per week, you only take survey for 10-15 minutes, and you will get paid. Interested, join and info at here
(only to citizens or if you were living in Australia)

Oh dear - I wish I could knit (without having to go through the learning process!) ... but until then, I'll continue to enjoy purchasing products talented people like you make!
